Felíz navidad! is a compilation of memories from my first time in Guatemala after more than a year of living abroad. The scenes with my family were recorded on December 25, 2022. For the beginning of the video before the music I used ambient sound that I recorded with my cell phone. The birds, the dog, the marimba, the conversations and everything are things that have always been there and are part of the environment in which I grew up. It's like a trip back in time to Christmas with the family.
The whole montage with the song are videos I recorded with my camcorder. The mountain in the last video I associate with my dad and my childhood. In all our trips down south, this turtle-mountain was always there. Seeing it meant we were close to our final destination. I the song Trigal by Sandro because it was one of the songs I heard the most on my last trip. It makes me very nostalgic.
